
Heartsaver CPR AED Course Overview
The Heartsaver CPR AED course is designed for individuals who want to confidently respond to medical emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. It includes essential first aid skills, CPR training, and proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course is ideal for non-healthcare professionals, including parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches, and employees who need OSHA-compliant training or want to be prepared in an emergency.
Course Format
This blended course combines online learning with a hands-on skills session. You will receive a Heartsaver access code, complete the online portion at your own pace, and then schedule an in-person skills check with a certified instructor.
Course Length
The course includes approximately 3 hours of online instruction followed by a 2-hour in-person skills session.
Certification
Upon successful completion, you will receive an official American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver certification card, valid for two years. Same-day certification is available after successfully completing your in-person skills session.
